Theme-based call for research projects "Infectious diseases caused by coronaviruses management and social and educational aspects of the pandemic (IP-CORONA-2020-04)"

The aim of the call is motivating research in order to acquire better understanding of the coronavirus biology and pathology, specifically SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 infectious disease, managing the crisis during and after coronavirus caused epidemics and organising and applying distance education at all education levels.

Research topics:
1.    Immune response and development od new approaches to COVID-19 diagnostic
2.    Developing new vaccines, treatments, medications and cures for COVID-19 inhibition
3.    COVID-19 pandemic social aspects
4.    Pandemic educational aspects

Open call start: March 30th, 2020
Deadline: April 20th, 2020., 13:00 hours (CET)

Faculty of Medicine Osijek and the student's Neuroscience section – SENZOS, being the principal organizers, announce the 19th Brain Awareness Week.
We invite all the Faculty staff, along with the teachers and students from other University insitutions to join us in organizing the campaign iniciated by the Alliance for Brain Initiatives day, which is held around the world in March. This year's program is taking place March 16th to 22nd. Stressed topics are fear, safety and role-models.

3rd Young Researcher's Day at University of Osijek will be held February 25th, 2020. at Faculty of Medicine Osijek, with the participation of Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Healthcare Osijek, Department of Biology, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry and Faculty of Food Technology,  alongside Faculty of Medicine Osijek.
